Guys. I loved this book! (I love when I get to say that!)

The Program is set in an alternate, dystopian version of modern America where there has been a massive spike in teen suicide. Nobody knows why or how to stop it. In an attempt to prevent depression and suicide in teenagers, the ominous “Department of Health” has created the Program, a fate feared among the general population almost as much as depression and suicide themselves. Teenagers can be admitted to the Program, against their will, at the slightest sign or suggestion of onsetting depression. Nobody who has not been through the Program is quite sure what happens in its facilities, but those who come back are always different, eerily tranquil, the picture of good citizens.
